I am trying to run my VM Ware player in the safe mode in windows 7 Ultimate edition. Still, if anybody has got a better solution I would be really thankful.

Haven’t asked at the VMware community yet, but will do that right now. Directly after installing Workstation it runs the VM just fine, but after switching users a few times each of the users also uses cajnot same installation of Worksation with the same VM it displays canot error, followed by “Internal error”. It seems that this is a problem specific to the pc I’m using. The host system is Windows 7 Enterprise 64Bit.

How to start VMX86 (VMWare Player) in the safe mode.
I had the same problem, I tried running vmx86 by cmd but it failed. Even though this is not exactly a clean solution, it seems like I found a workaround for this problem. DD Replied on February 25, In the end my solution was to run net start vmx86 in an administrator cmd prompt.
Did this solve your problem?
