Admittedly, I’m running a much updated version of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver than I was prior to updating to Win7 x64 so there may be cause to suspect that driver. This locking up issue was not happening until I did the re-load though. Everything was fine after several hours and several passes.
I tried to hibernate from the command line but I am getting a message “not enough storage is available to process this command. Just wanted to update the status on my situation for anyone that might find this in the future. Installed Windows on a single drive. The windows logs are not very helpfull or maybe I dont know where to look. So, again other than the event 45 and the message I get when I hibernate from the command line, nothing is out of the ordinary.
These error messages loax after the reload and I unplugged them. Apparently it happens when daemon tools is installed, for what ever reason it messes with hibernation and some how causes this error?
You may now set your account to power user rather than admin so that it is harder to infect the computer again. There are many hardware issues for this as well as pests, spyware and more.
